The Embracing HospiceCare Foundation for Life

Supporting Our Mission

There is always a need for financial support. The Embracing HospiceCare Foundation was founded to exclusively help hospice patients and their families in areas that are not funded by the hospice Medicare benefit. All contributions are used exclusively for the patients and families, and the donations are generally treated as charitable contributions and are tax-deductable. Embracing HospiceCare donates all clerical support for the administration of the Foundation. The contributions are used 100% in some of the following manners:

To provide transportation for loved ones to visit patients
To pay delinquent bills so utilities can be continued
To purchase clothing (frequently for funeral services)
To purchase food
To purchase personal items for the inpatient unit
To pay for a delinquent mortgage payment
To purchase medications not related to the terminal illness
